It's extender for my homemade Inkle loom! Here it is in use. It adds about 3 feet to the length I can weave.(Notice Bingo! in the background. He thought I was weaving a lease for him.) This set up is about 3 inches wide, which is about as wide as I can weave on this loom.
The plywood board that makes up the body, has slots cut into it where the four pegs positioned. The slots allow more pegs to be added and moved. So, if I make a couple more pegs, to put into the board I could zig zag the warp and add some more length.
At this time the board is unfinished. I plan to lightly stain it and then use the water base clear finish. I want to add a shelf on the backside for the shuttle. It isn't the most portable loom when mounted like this. But I was able to move it out of the way every night when working on this piece.
