Of late, when I come and go from work I see rabbits.

Rabbits going about there business of being rabbits.   

I stop and watch them.   

They stop and watch me,   Tensing up, waiting to see what comes next.

So what do rabbits mean?

Some group of Native Americans have Manabozho the Great Hare.   
A shape shifting trickster, 
whose tricks helps create the world.

In Chinese astrological charts 
those born under the sign of the rabbit are 
conservative, friendly and deeply compassionate.  
As well creative and avoid conflicts.

And finally some random internet source says, 
rabbits are guides into the shadow world 
where our personal fears lie.
