So, The Vets lobby was a blast.  Louise, Bingo and I walk in and there are three large dog who are very excited to see Bingo.  They all start barking.  One is a Bingo Brand dog, ie Black and White Border Collie mix.  Which mean high energy low impulse control.  Yeah!

So very rapidly we move into the examine room.  We hang out there a long time.  (Which just adds to being there early because even though the Vet office is just five block from our house we have to leave ten minutes early in case we get a flat tire or something.) So long they tell us we can see a different Vet.  But we say no, we'll wait for Dr Goldie.  Which turns out to be great fun.  It was like our own little book group.  We discussed authors of current western fictions, like CJ Box, Craig Johnson and Evan McNamara.

Evan McNamara, writes about the area around Creede Colorado.  (Pronounce CR-E-D much to my consternation.)  In particular a ranch that Dr Goldie once worked at.  Dr Goldie and Louise talk and talk about places in Colorado.  I tried to keep up.   ( It is a point of pride that I know little to nothing about Colorado Geography, I mean I'm from Wyoming!)

So Bingo is in fine shape.  Needs his teethed brushed.  Which will be a tag team effort.  Has a couple of bumps but nothing to worry about.  Got his nail trimmed. When we leave there is a Saint Bernard puppy in the lobby.  He has a inflatable donuts area his neck.  They could keep a cone on him.  He is about three times as big as Bingo  (ie he is maybe 150 lbs).  And it turns out he loves Little Dogs!  And he is tranquilized which mean he is currently running at about 3 times Bingo's energy level.  Was he fun!

So all in all a fun trip to the Vet!
